It has never been easier to stay connected with UC Merced. Parents and families have provided years of support and guidance to their children, and that often continues as students begin their journeys to adulthood in college.


The Office of Financial Aid offers important resources to make college affordable, whether it’s federal, state or private aid. You can also access your student’s account.

You can sign up online to receive emergency alerts through the UCM Alerts system on your mobile phone and/or via email.

The campus registrar’s site has a summary of the Family Education Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA), which grants students four specific rights.

The Students First Center has helpful resources for students and their families, as well as a list of important dates and deadlines.

The academics page has information about majors and minors, as well as graduate programs. The course catalog is also available online, as is the academic calendar.

The Bobcat Advising Center is the academic advising home for all first year students in every major, undeclared lower division transfers, and undeclared continuing students.  The School academic advising units serve declared transfers and second, third, and fourth year declared majors.
The Calvin E. Bright Success Center provides learning support services that empower students to succeed in academic and personal development.

The campus life section of UC Merced’s website features information about clubs and services on campus, as well as information about the surrounding region and what to see and do.
